Despite multiple geopolitical tensions and mounting uncertainties, China and the United States should work together and rebuild trust to bring about a win-win outcome, as closer economic cooperation between the world's two largest economies will benefit even other economies, experts said.
專家表示，盡管地區(qū)沖突不斷、日益增加的不確定性依然存在，但中美兩國應(yīng)共同努力，重建信任，實現(xiàn)雙贏，世界上最大的兩個經(jīng)濟(jì)體之間更緊密的經(jīng)濟(jì)合作將使其他經(jīng)濟(jì)體受益。

Jin Xu, chairman of the China Association of Internation al Trade, said he sees huge growth opportunities and great potential for Sino-US cooperation, especially in trade, finance, green development, technology and the digital economy.
中國國際貿(mào)易學(xué)會會長金旭表示，他看到了中美合作的巨大發(fā)展機(jī)遇和潛力，尤其是在貿(mào)易、金融、綠色發(fā)展、技術(shù)和數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)領(lǐng)域。

"I have a rosy view of the future relationship and cooperation between the two countries," he told China Daily in an exclusive interview recently. "Sino-US cooperation will not only benefit businesses and citizens in both nations but also help stabilize and boost global economic development."
金旭近日在接受《中國日報》專訪時表示：“我對兩國未來的關(guān)系和合作持樂觀態(tài)度。中美合作不僅使兩國企業(yè)和民眾受益，也有助于穩(wěn)定和促進(jìn)全球經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展。”

Citing the recent meeting between the presidents of the two countries in San Francisco, Jin said that has sent a positive signal, suggesting stabilization and improvement in bilateral ties between the two nations. He said he expects further moves to enhance mutual trust and deepen ties between the citizens and enterprises of China and the US.
金旭稱，近日中美元首在舊金山舉行會晤，釋放出積極信號，表明兩國雙邊關(guān)系趨于穩(wěn)定和改善。他期待中美兩國進(jìn)一步增強(qiáng)互信，深化兩國公民和企業(yè)之間的交往。

Bilateral trade between China and the US hit a record high of $759.4 billion last year, up 0.6 percent year-on-year, data from the General Administration of Customs showed.
中國海關(guān)總署數(shù)據(jù)顯示，去年中美雙邊貿(mào)易額創(chuàng)下7594億美元的歷史新高，同比增長0.6%。

Jin said Sino-US economic and trade ties were impacted by some Western countries' "decoupling" or "de-risking" strategy, adding that such attempts will also harm global trade and investment.
金旭表示，中美經(jīng)貿(mào)關(guān)系受到一些西方國家“對華脫鉤”或“去風(fēng)險”戰(zhàn)略的影響，這種企圖也將阻礙全球貿(mào)易和投資。

Simon Lacey, head of Digital Trade and Geopolitics at the World Economic Forum, said the notion of decoupling or de-risking is misguided as it falsely identifies China as the risk.
世界經(jīng)濟(jì)論壇數(shù)字貿(mào)易與地緣政治部門主管西蒙·萊西表示，所謂“對華脫鉤”的說法，其實是一種錯誤認(rèn)知，錯誤地將中國視為風(fēng)險。

"I think the right response is not to seek decoupling or de-risking but rather to seek to rebalance the world economy..." he said. "So, the challenge is really sort of global rebalancing, rather than singling out any one country as a source of risk. And I think this rebalancing effort that needs to take place requires cooperation over confrontation."
萊西說：“我認(rèn)為正確的應(yīng)對措施不是尋求‘對華脫鉤’，而是重新平衡世界經(jīng)濟(jì)……因此，真正的挑戰(zhàn)是一種全球再平衡，而不是將任何一個國家單獨(dú)挑出來作為所謂的‘風(fēng)險源’。我認(rèn)為，實現(xiàn)全球再平衡需要的是合作而不是對抗。”

He said China and the US can work together and rebuild trust in a number of areas, including green transition.
他說，中美可以在綠色轉(zhuǎn)型等多個領(lǐng)域共同努力，重建信任。

"They also have a lot more to gain from cooperation than from confrontation. There's only one outcome to confrontation and we all lose. Whereas there are many possible positive outcomes to cooperation, which can really lead to some great win-win outcomes."
“中美合作比中美對抗更對雙方有利，對抗只有一個結(jié)果，那就是兩敗俱傷。而合作可以產(chǎn)生很多積極結(jié)果，實現(xiàn)雙贏。”

Lacey highlighted China's importance to global firms with its ultra-large domestic market as well as its role as a center for innovation and research.
萊西強(qiáng)調(diào)了中國對全球企業(yè)的重要性，中國擁有超大的國內(nèi)市場，并且是一個創(chuàng)新研發(fā)中心。

"So, global companies who want to stay at the cutting edge of technological innovation need to be in China for producing, selling and innovating. Otherwise, they just can't maintain their global competitiveness.
“因此，想要引領(lǐng)技術(shù)創(chuàng)新的跨國公司需要在中國進(jìn)行生產(chǎn)、銷售和創(chuàng)新，以保持全球競爭力。
